Cozy Red And Cream Woodland Christmas

I've had so much fun working on holiday EDesigns this year! Yesterday, I delivered a Holiday Decor Design Plan to a client to turn her Great Room (Kitchen, Dining, and Family Room) into a cozy, festive, and stylish place for her family to congregate this holiday season. 

The overall theme is a sophisticated "Red and Cream Woodland Christmas". Chunky knits, lots of pillows, fuzzy plaid ribbon, fresh evergreens, pops of red, twinkling white lights, a tempting hot cocoa station, a furry spot for their fur babies and glowing candles come together to form this polished, family friendly holiday look...

Before and After Bathroom Makeover Reveal - An EDesign Comes To Life

Today is an exciting day! I get to share before and after photos sent in to me by one of my EDesign Clients. I designed this bathroom makeover for this client through my Online Design Service (EDesign). She submitted photos of her space along with measurements, and after an online consultation with her I had a great idea of the look she was craving. I also got a feel for her project budget, style preferences and lifestyle.

I created a detailed custom design plan for her with step by step instructions on putting the new look together along with product source links to places like Home Depot, Pier 1, Etsy, Amazon and Wayfair. Once I delivered the plan to her, she got started implementing it. It turned out beautifully. One of my favorite parts about this project, is the  DIY project we incorporated into the design.

Didn't they do a fantastic job implementing their new design? Another thing I love about this project, is that we use budget friendly, readily accessible, off-the-shelf materials, and they came together to look custom and high end. The art and DIY project shelves add a lot of personality and charm to the design making the space feel personalized and unique.

Before and After - Chic Playroom Makeover

Happy Friday! Today I have a fun transformation to share with you! You may remember recently I shared this Online Design Plan that I created for an EDesign Client...Well, today, my client sent me some after photos that show what the space looks like now! Before I share the photos, let me tell you a little bit about this project. My client came to me looking for a custom Online Design Plan that she could follow to makeover their playroom. 

Here is what the space looked like before...

After a quick online consultation with her, I learned that she wanted a neat, stylish, design that was easy on the budget. It also had to be easy on the eyes because it happens to be one of the first spaces you see upon entering their home through the main foyer. Above all, the new space had to be a cozy, practical and an inspiring space for their two young girls to play, read, create and relax in. 

My client sent me the photos above along with measurements of the space and I got to work creating a custom, budget friendly, design plan for them to follow.

I have a lot of favorite design elements in this space, but I have to admit I really have a crush on the area rug and the artwork. The dark wall color sets a dramatic backdrop that makes these beautiful features pop.
