Client Appreciation Month~Your Art is On Me, One Week Left...

What an incredible spring!  This year, I've had an amazing response to my online design service.  To show my appreciation to my online design clients, I am hosting client appreciation month.

Anyone who purchases an online design plan by 5/31/13, will be entered into a drawing to win an awesome piece of art {chosen by me} specifically for their space.  Up to a $400 value.   One entry per space, previous clients that have purchased online designs between 12/1/12 and 5/31/13 will also be entered into the drawing.  The winner will be selected randomly and notified privately 6/1/2013.

Today's featured online design plan had me seriously jealous of the clients space.  This design was created for Julie's fabulous laundry/craft room.  Take a look at the true to scale illustration we created  below.  This space is a gigantic laundry room that boasts a wall of beautiful built in cabinetry, a large sunny window and a multipurpose area that we are claiming as her crafting space.

The furniture I chose for Julie's space is a mix and match collection of crafting furniture by Martha Stewart Living.

My goal was to give her furniture that not only looks great but is uber-functional for her crafting and sewing pass times.

Having this dedicated craft space allows her to keep her sewing machine and crafting supplies set up and ready to go when inspiration strikes.

A fun black and white color scheme is softened with a beautiful wall color.  We gave her two options for paint color, a muted turquoise and a soft gray.  Natural textured storage baskets in the same tone as her beautiful pine floors add warmth to the design.

An indoor outdoor rug is a practical choice for a crafting area. After reviewing Julie's pinterest boards, I learned she was fond of this pattern, it just so happened to be perfect for her new space.

Julie requested a discreet way to implement her kitty litter box.  We gave her an option that not only hides the litter but doubles as a cute pillow top bench seat.   We also created a gallery style wall arrangement for Julie that includes an attractive cork board, chalk board and custom art.  Fabulous lighting (including a re-purposed chandelier) and gorgeous drapery round out Julie's design plan.
