Happy Monday! I love to start off my week by showing one of my online design plans come to life! And today, I'm sharing the very dramatic transformation of this gorgeous space...

When I began my consultation with my client on this project, she provided me with the amazing renovation plans for this home. My part in this transformation was to make selections and recommendations for the aesthetic elements of the makeover (furniture, finishes, paint colors, decor, etc). The structural elements and changes to the footprint of the home were created and provided by the Builder and the Client.

It was exciting to see the dramatic transformation take place.

Live Demo of The Viral Tension Rod Doorway Garland Hack

Hi everyone! Happy Holidays! I'm so excited to kick off my holiday decorating projects tonight, live at the Dish and Design - Home For The Holidays Event. I'm honored to be chosen as a Holiday Home Decor Expert on the panel of presenters at this fun event. For my presentation, I'll be demonstrating how to create the "Tension Rod Doorway Garland Holiday Decor Hack" that has gone viral this season on Instagram and Pinterest!

Here are a few examples of the Tension Rod Doorway Garland project that's making the rounds on social media...

The version I'll be demonstrating is what I call the "Simple and Elegant Holiday Decorating Style". The look I'll be creating is one that anyone can achieve and looks great with any home style of decor. Here are some of the supplies I'm bringing with me to create my look:

Inexpensive Faux Garland (Thrift Store)

High Quality Soft Pine Garland (Kirkland's)

Gold Bells - Amazon

Satin Ribbon - Amazon

Battery Operated Lights - Amazon

Eucalyptus Stems - Amazon

Roll and Clip Green Twist Ties - Amazon

I look forward to seeing everyone tonight! Thanks for coming out!
