Just delivered this custom design to an Online Design Client. She came to me for a plan for her lovely Home Office. She had a great start to the design with a new desk and bookcase set in a gray-washed finish. She requested a fresh new look while maintaining a traditional flavor that would flow with the rest of her beautiful home. When I consulted with her, I learned that she was really drawn to the Serena and Lily Upscale-Coastal Style as well as the Updated-Traditional Style found throughout the Ballard Designs Catalog. I couldn't wait to get started on a design that combined these two vibes!
Using her existing office furniture as the base of the design, I brought in a fresh new paint color, coastal-inspired textiles, fun accessories, painted wood tables, woven accent chairs, gorgeous window treatments, new lighting, and wall decor to give the room a whole new look. I even offered a little upgrade to the room for her fur babies' kennel area!
