Gorgeous Ikea Hack Desk For A Family Home Office

In today's design project, I offer a plan to create a custom desk (using Ikea units) that is big enough for multiple users and stylish enough to be the first impression area upon entering a gorgeous home. My client's came to me for a design plan for their family home office that sits just off the main foyer. They requested a design that makes a beautiful first impression upon entering, while offering superior function as an office/study for the whole family. I started this design by creating a long desk large enough for two computers and two printers. I used beautiful Ikea components as the desk base and added a lovely custom wood desktop. To house their 3D Printer, I brought in a coordinating Ikea side cabinet and gave it a custom wood top to coordinate with the desk. 

This home office design is cozy, offers a ton of storage, and functions for multiple users all with different work/study needs. On top if it all... is very easy on the eyes! Check it out...
