Today, I'd like to share a family room I recently designed for clients through my online design service. I consulted with them through my online design questionnaire and I got to know them. I learned about their desires for their space, their style preferences, and their budget. They sent me photos of their family room along with measurements and I got to work creating their custom design plan.
The room is a large space that is open to a beautiful kitchen and dining area. I created a design plan that maintains the room's existing light, spacious feel while giving it a warm, inviting, cozy vibe. One way I did that, was through the incorporation of custom built-ins. A gorgeous media built-in for a large wall. And, custom built-ins flanking their existing wood stove, which makes it more of a focal point in the room.
