Last week I had so much fun designing a family room for a client who loves coastal cottage design. I sourced some fabulous merchandise to create a welcoming and stylish space with a casual beach cottage vibe. One of my favorite features of this space is a little recessed window area that resides in between the kitchen and the family room. I claimed that space and turned it into a breakfast nook. A built in banquet under a set of large windows piled with stylish pillows and a casual sea drift wood dining set offer a cozy gathering spot for morning coffee and weekend entertaining.
