A Small Busy Entryway Gets a Big Dose of Style

*For info on my online design service, please click here. I currently have openings for new projects.

Do you have a small area in your home that get's a lot of daily use, but lacks personality? Not sure how to give a tight, busy area character and style? I just delivered a design plan to a customer that will take her small entryway from one of her least favorite areas to one that makes her smile every time she uses it! This foyer in my clients Northern Michigan Lakehouse is the main entry into her home and is used often to take the family pets in and out throughout the day. I created a custom design to give her foyer a stylish look that matches the beautiful decor throughout the rest of her home, while maintaining a practical, pet friendly space that stands up to Northern Michigan weather elements... think rainy coats, snowy boots, muddy paws, etc.

The secret to achieving style in a tight space without crowding it with decor is to use just a few high impact design elements. This could include oversized art, graphic patterns, a contrasting color palette, creative lighting, and layers of texture. I utilized all of these in her design plan. Check it out...

Do you have a room in your home that you need a little professional help with? I'd love to create a design plan with custom solutions that will allow you make the most out of your spaces. I currently have openings if you'd like to get started!
