Hi Friends! Back in the studio today and reflecting on this project I completed for an online design client a few weeks ago. The room I designed for her is a very large living room/family room/hearth room combination. It was a long and narrow space with a large fireplace dividing the family room area and the living room area. I had so much fun creating a design plan that gave her the solutions she was looking for in terms of creating the best furniture layout and selecting the perfect furniture pieces to make sure each space was balanced, functional, and cozy.

After consulting with her, viewing photos of her space & current furniture and reviewing the measurements she provided, I got to work creating her custom design plan.

Here is what I designed....

Fun and Dramatic Powder Room Makeover with Wall Paper

*For info on my online design service, please click here. I currently have openings for new projects!

Happy Friday Everyone! I can't wait to share this fun Bathroom Makeover with you. When my client came to me for a design plan to update her powder room, one of the main things she mentioned that she wanted to do was eliminate a stand up shower that the family rarely used.
Here is what the space looked like...

After her contractor removed the shower and drain, the fun redesign of the aesthetic part of the space began! Slate floors set the tone for a cool new look. I suggested the white board and batten wall treatment to give the space charm and character.

The adorable wood vanity that we used to replace the pedestal sink brought in a slight rustic vibe while the sleek countertop, modern faucet, and fabulous light selection kept the mood in this room upscale.

Removing the shower created a fun open corner for a small chair and some wall hooks that are perfect additions to this bathroom. This space is often used as a dressing room while the family and their friends are enjoying the swimming pool.

Hands down my favorite part of this makeover is the fabulous wallpaper! This was such a fun space to design with my client!
