Dramatic Makeover Reveal - Cozy Custom Bedroom Before and After

I currently have openings for new EDesign projects! Click here for info.

Hi Friends! Recently, I've had several "after" photos or "reveal" photos sent to me from some of my amazing online design clients.  Today, I have an exciting set of after photos to share. My client, Tracy, came to me for a design plan for a dramatic master bedroom makeover. Tracy already had a lovely bedroom, but she was looking for a fresh new look, and a space filled with custom detail and charming character.  I shared the online design plan I created for her on the blog, but if you missed it you can catch it by CLICKING HERE.

Here is a peek at the design board...

Are you ready for the dramatic transformation?
Here is a look at the space BEFORE...

AFTER

Behr can't wait to show you around his new space. I mean, his owners new space...

(Carpentry by Ballmer Builders, Floors by Yankee Hardwood Flooring, Custom Cabinetry by Your Custom Closets and Upholstery by Hutton's Upholstery.).

It's hard for me to pin point my favorite feature in this bedroom.

It is a very large space, yet it feels intimate and cozy.

Much of that has to do with the custom detail like the board and batten wall treatment that wraps the entire room and feels like a giant hug.

The custom sliding barn doors stained in a dark rich finish that matches the new hardwood floors bring a ton of luxurious charm to the design.

Speaking of custom, my client decided a dresser just wasn't going to give her the storage she wanted, so she commissioned a custom builtin until that filled the entire wall. It also provided her with an attractive display area for her special collectables and family photos.

I had a new chair in the design plan, however Tracy already had a great piece that just needed a new fabric to give it a new life and a place in her master bedroom.

I  have to give a special nod to the custom upholstery job that was performed on this chair and ottoman set. The striped fabric used here for the new look required meticulous application and that is just what it received.

Another detail I would like to point out is the power outlets and USB featured in the stunning custom headboard installed in this design. Not only does this space have a timeless aesthetic, but modern technology as well.

Thank you to my client, Tracy, for giving me the opportunity to design for her through my Online Design Service. And, also for allowing me to share her transformation with you!
