Sophisticated Comfort ~ A Living Room and Dining Room

Taking a quick break to share some of the Online Design Projects we are working on this week in the design studio. This project was just delivered to our client, Tracy. Tracy came to us and asked us to create a Design Plan for her gorgeous Living Room and Dining Room. She wanted a look that is high in style, yet still comfortable and livable for her young family.

After consulting with Tracy through our interactive design survey, we had a feel for her style preferences, budget and lifestyle. Here is a quick peek at some of the design elements we put together for her custom, two room design plan...

The Dining Room and Living Room are close in proximity, therefore it was important for them to flow. Both spaces boast amazing custom details such as a coffered ceiling, floor to ceiling windows, thick crown moldings and built-in bookcases. Both rooms feature beautiful fireplaces and gleaming hardwood floors.

Here is a look at the true to scale floor plan illustrations we provided to Tracy that include all of the items we placed in her design plan...

We selected furniture that combines a sleek, stylish profile with luxurious comfort. The color palette is mainly neutral, consisting of gray, tan and white. Accent colors can be added through art and accessories to easily give the home a fresh look for the different seasons. The overall look is traditional with a contemporary twist. Our goal was to deliver a timeless design that is still young and fresh.

Here is a look at some of the merchandise we selected for this design...

The merchandise selections shown here are just some of the design elements we included in Tracy's plan. For more information on how our Online Design Plan Service works, please click here. We are now accepting new projects.
