Our brass door knobs have always bugged me. I've been wanting to switch them out for the anodized version for a while. I decided to go for it.
I went to HD to purchase the new knobs and they were $15 a set.
Ouch.
I have 18 doors.

So, I took a detour down the paint isle. I picked up a can of Rustoleum spray paint in oil rubbed bronze and a can of Rustoleum metal primer (for adhesion).
I am so happy with the results. The entire project cost $12 for the 2 cans of paint and took about an hour to complete, plus dry time.
You honestly can not tell the difference between the spray painted knobs and the real ones.
Love it!
ReplyDeleteAnd, I most definitely love the contrast of the dark doors and white trim! Looks fabulous!
Oh the black knob is way better. Super job!
